What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a reformer machine. The machine uses springs and pulleys to support you and add resistance, helping improve strength, mobility, posture, and core stability.
It’s suitable for all fitness levels, especially beginners.

Do I need any Pilates experience?

Not at all. Many of our members are completely new to Pilates.
Our instructors guide you through each movement and teach from one shared method, so you’ll always feel supported and confident, whether it’s your first session or your fiftieth.

What should I bring to class?

Just comfortable, form-fitting activewear.
We provide all equipment, including reformers, mats, and props.
You’re welcome to bring a water bottle or enjoy matcha, artisan coffee, or post-class snacks from our wellness café.

Is Reformer Pilates suitable during pregnancy?

Yes, absolutely. Many pregnant women benefit greatly from Pilates.

We have fully qualified, pregnancy-trained instructors who understand trimester-specific needs and offer safe, supportive modifications throughout your class.
Please speak to your instructor before the session so we can tailor the movements for you and ensure your comfort and safety.

If you’re unsure, you may wish to check with your midwife or GP before starting.

Do you offer drop-in classes?

Reform Studio operates as a membership-led community.
We don’t offer drop-ins, instead, members choose a package that suits how often they want to practice each month.
